Disc injuries can be complicated. The most severe type is a sequestered disc which Sometimes requires surgery. Pr*****ed discs will actually poke through the ligament Where as a protruding disc does not breakthrough the ligament. Herniations, broad-based bulges, Annular or circumferential tears in the disc all are very painful. Chiropractic is effective over a 6 to 8 week period in helping restore normal movement, but we also use acupuncture and laser therapy to decrease swelling and inflammation. Dr. Cramer: 719-433-0750

Because I am one of the Only Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedists in the State of Colorado, wirth additional training beyond that of a regular Chiropractor, AND Certification in Medical Acupuncture, with 3 decades of experience, I treat only the most difficult cases, typically which have not responded to traditional care. That said, my time is spent on these complicated cases and injuries and I really just don't have the time to treat the more simple/straightforward stuff. My point is that the newer, inexperienced Chiropractors can cater to the simple cases, while I can keep treating people's more serious conditions!

I can't believe I am saying this- I have decided to stop taking walk-in patients and I am going to an "appointment required" policy. Also, unless someone is directly REFERRED to me by their Doctor, Attorney, my patient, or a mutual friend, I cannot take them as a new patient. We are consistently running 4 rooms at a time all day long and I know this is in fairness to my established patients (whom I love), and MYSELF, so I can survive my busy practice!
