This Sunday! Join CSDS Ladies in the Loupe for a brisk afternoon hike!

Autumn is upon us! Join fellow CSDS dentists for a pleasant hike of Pulpit Rock.

When: Sunday, September 28. Meet at 2 pm.

Where: Colorado Springs Pulpit Rock

Hike details: A loop hike 2.3 miles long with -300 feet of vertical up and down. A couple of places have unsteady footing. Bring a hat, water, sun protection, and/or snacks.

Parking: 6411 N. Nevada Avenue. Follow the road behind Mowers & Motors (where go-karts are parked) to see the entrance gate that neighbors a small power plant.

Dental Lifeline Network recently notified dentists of a potential phishing scam. Someone is attempting to obtain information illegally from their volunteers and supporters by imitating DLN employees. The only email address DLN uses is .org.

According to The Week magazine, an award-winning master chef in Rome has created lasagna “toothpaste.” This latest creation serves tubes of warm purée of minced meat and tomato sauce which diners squeeze onto a toothbrush made from egg pasta and eat with a sauce of liquefied Parmesan. Well, this article was printed in the “It must be true. . .I read it in the tabloids” column.
