Midwifery is all about the women, the mothers, the birthers. But there are men involved, partners who are working tirelessly to support and encourage their loved ones.
One of the greatest joys of this work is watching a dad’s face go from concerned to in awe over his woman completing this incredible work of birth. We often say that dads are often the most skeptical of a home birth before it happens, but our biggest fans after it’s done. Watching their wives birth in power changes their relationship forever.
So thank you to all the men out there there supporting, cheering for and trusting their wives and trusting birth 💗!

What a birthnado we had last week! Everyone from the middle of March through the middle of April delivered in one week, and five of those in 24 hours 🤯. We are so thankful to have the midwife community that we have. We made it to all the births and welcomed 9 babies overall, 6 girls and 3 boys!
Thank you to all the families who trusted us with their care!

I really love this mug. Ok, ok, home birth is not right for everyone, however I do think it gets clouded in fear and misinformation too much of the time.

Homebirth is a safe option for families who want supportive, 1-on-1, low medical intervention care for physiologic birth.

AND yes! Certainly for 1st babies. Don’t wait until an unsatisfactory birth experience “makes” you research home birth as an option.

Research all birth options in your area - hospital, birth center, home - during pregnancy so you are making the best most informed choice for your family.

What an exciting day yesterday! We had two babies, one girl and one boy, born almost exactly 12 hours apart.
