20 years in this industry and THIS is still my favorite part. 🤍

Don’t get me wrong, I love owning the studio. I love building a team, creating a space people feel safe in, watching The Pink Canoe Studio grow into what it is today… but being behind the treatment bed with my clients will always be the heart of it for me.

Today was 15 clients, an employee meeting squeezed in between appointments, nonstop moving, running behind at least once 😅, and honestly… I forgot to film a couple appointments altogether. But this is the real side of this industry.

It’s not always glamorous.
It’s not always easy.
And it definitely didn’t happen overnight.

It took me 20 years in this industry to build books that stay consistently full and clients that trust me the way they do. So if you’re a newer esthetician watching this wondering if you’ll ever “make it” — you absolutely can.

Stay consistent.
Keep learning.
Find mentors and workplaces that genuinely want to help you grow.
Focus on your client experience.
And don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20.

This industry can be exhausting, but it can also be incredibly rewarding. ✨

So grateful for every single client who keeps me busy doing what I love. 🤍
