There are over 368,000 children and youth in foster care across the United States, each facing unique challenges from barriers in education and employment to a lack of stable, supportive connections.

This month is a time to raise awareness, learn, and take action so every young person can reach their full potential.

Many households who qualify are working but still need extra support. If your income falls within guidelines, you could receive monthly benefits to help cover groceries. Benefits are easy to use with an EBT card at participating stores. Apply at co.gov/PEAK

SNAP (EBT) cardholders can get $3 admission per person for up to 10 people to the Denver Zoo! Tickets must be reserved in advance online or by phone, as they’re not available on-site. A limited number are released each day at 11 a.m. and are first come, first serve. Remember to bring your EBT card as proof of participation.
