Levi & Elliana Anderson

Levi & Elliana Anderson InFaith Missionary Candidates
Disability Discipleship and Ministry Development Levi and Elliana Anderson became missionaries with InFaith in 2024.

Both were blessed to grow up in Christian homes with parents who actively taught and demonstrated their faith. After Levi survived a traumatic car accident just before his high school graduation, rendering him blind, he shared his testimony at Elliana's youth group. While he studied at Moody Bible Institute, Elliana finished high school and pursued a track in Occupational Therapy Assisting following a 5-month mission on Mercy Ships. They officially met during this time and married just over two years later. Throughout their marriage, they have served in church disability ministries and with a parachurch organization serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Levi and Elliana Anderson focus on disability discipleship and ministry, which includes church ministry development, pastoral/church leader mentorship, and individual discipleship of intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals in the church. By educating and mentoring church leaders on how to shepherd the disabled in their congregations, encouraging the integration of the disabled into existing church programs and serving opportunities, and helping create and maintain disability programs and services in churches, they aim to bridge the gap between the abled and disabled in church communities.

Have you seen our recent newsletter? If not shoot us a message and we'll get you on our email list! Here are some of the highlights:

-We're moving to a new apartment complex in just a couple of week! Prayers for a smooth transition and for the Lord to bless our use of the space for His kingdom.
-Micaiah has been enjoying the warmer weather and increased opportunities to play with friends. She is growing rapidly and such a joy!
-Levi continues to work diligently at Costco and finds opportunities to minister to his coworkers each week. He also serves at church in the kids ministry and the disability ministry each month, and has been helping organize our volunteers for the kids side of the disability ministry that is launching this month.
-I had the opportunity to teach the disability class this last week, which went quite well and was such an encouragement to me. My classes have been incredibly edifying this session, and I'm looking forward to starting the next 8-week session of classes in a couple of weeks.

More in the newsletter to check out, and as always we'd love to hear from you!

It’s Giving Tuesday! Did you know that an end-of-year gift pledged to give annually counts toward our monthly support goal? As we continue to work toward full funding we’ve encountered a lot of questions regarding what full funding would look like for us to be able to do disability ministry full time, and the reality is that we need at least 80% our monthly goal reached before we can do that. If giving monthly is out of the budget but giving annually is something you and your family could do, we would love to talk you through how to do that.

If you feel so led, giving to us, our mission organization, or another faith-based organization supporting the disabled and their families (examples include Joni & Friends, the Tim Tebow Organization, or even a local church’s disability ministry) would greatly bless us!

The Pew Research Center studies on Christianity shows that the number of Americans following Jesus Christ has steeply declined over the last 30 years. This is in stark contrast to much of the rest of the world where Christianity is flourishing. In Africa, Asia, and South America the church of Jesus Christ is flourishing. It is reported that the number of Christians in the People’s Republic of China will soon outnumber Christians in the United States!

This tells us two things. First, God is using American believers to transform the world. Second, God can use American believers to transform the United States. Let’s consider America as our new mission field where the possibilities are endless. With tens of millions of people who do not yet know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, we have the chance to transform the United States in a way not seen since the Great Awakenings.

InFaith-The American Missionary Fellowship stands ready to partner with you to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the most overlooked and underreached people in the United States. These communities are often on the margins, rural and agricultural, inner city, and economically disadvantaged. Our missionaries serve the least, the last and the lost but they can’t do it without you.

Will you prayerfully consider making InFaith-The American Missionary Fellowship your mission partner this giving Tuesday and throughout 2025?

At the end of the day, the mission is very clear: serving those who are more disenfranchised gives you a closer look at the ways of Jesus. – Emily Mitchell, Full-time missionary in Philadelphia, PA. Wow, what an incredible week at InFaiths new candidate orientation! We had the immense privilege to travel to Exton, PA where InFaith’s home office is and spend time building community, learning more about the ways missionaries are supported by the home office, asking questions and being prayed over. Both Levi and I feel incredibly bolstered in our faith and encouraged in our support raising efforts. We are thrilled to be working with the oldest stateside missionary agency - what a rich history! - and to be lifted up by the staff and other candidates as we seek to obey God’s calling on our lives.

If you’re on our email newsletter list, be on the lookout for communication from us soon including a brief family and ministry update.

Praying for all kids going back to school this month & next - especially those with disabilities who tend to particularly struggle with the change in routine. For those serving with these kiddos in church, let’s extend God’s grace to them in this season of transition and continue to share the love of Christ on the good days and the bad!

Disability ministry really begins when the disabled are ministering!

Levi and I have a heart for encouraging and educating the Church to disciple the disabled and get them more involved in church - including serving. Most churches in the States see the disabled as a population that can only be served. Many pastors have shared that the prospect of truly discipling and integrating the discipled into their congregations is intimidating for them. God has called Levi & I to help churches learn how to do this well in their specific church contexts, and we are excited to get started in building relationships with churches who recognize this need for inclusion and integration.

Right now we are raising support to make this possible so that we can obey God in helping churches of any size with any dynamic starting in Colorado Springs. If you’re interested in hearing more, we’d love to share with you what God has been doing in our lives and with the disabled of the Church here in the United States!
