Day 2. Succulents have been out in the sun.šŸŒž

Keeping them on a table on my balcony that gets really good morning sun (suggested by someone who says they like the morning sun).

Seems like this little one is growing back, but should I trim the dead leaves? Someone else suggested this, but I'm literally afraid to touch it....cause I think I'll kill it. šŸ™ˆ

Or I'm just being way too cautious...idk. I'm determined to keep these ones going for a long time.

I'll be buying terracotta pots for them so the roots have more room to grow....I just need to get to the store and I've been working, but I will do that this weekend!

*in cheering tone* Keep growing little ones!! You've got this! šŸ™ŒšŸŒæ

One of my succulents has definitely seen better days lately 🪓🄲
So I decided to experiment a little…

I’m going to start watering it with Kangen Beauty Water šŸ’§āœØ
Since it’s slightly acidic, I’m curious to see if it helps revive it and bring some life back into those little leaves 🌱

I’ve been learning how different types of water can affect not just our bodies, but also plants, skin, produce, and more… and it’s been very fascinating.

So this is your official ā€œbeforeā€ video šŸ‘€
Now we wait and see what happens.

Have you ever experimented with different water for your plants before? 🌿

Got a little taste of summer weather in OKC, and came back to such much needed rain in Colorado. Also found out we're getting snow this evening?šŸ‘€Such a peaceful and memorable trip spent with my nephew Beckham, and seeing my sister and brother-in-law's beautiful new home. Next time we plan to drive out. šŸ¤šŸ

Such a special weekend visiting OKC, and uncle Cory got to finally meet Beckham for the first time too🄰. Our hearts are so full. So thankful to have taken time away from our busy lives to be with family. It's always short lived, but I'm glad we are all much closer now. These moments will be cherished forever in my heart. Till next time OKCāœŒļø. We love you guys, and thank you Rachel and Brent for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and give Beckham and Nugs all the love and snugglesšŸ’–. See you all again soon!

One thing I’ve learned… you’re not meant to do life alone.

Who you surround yourself with matters more than you think.

Having a strong community of like-minded believers. People who will pray for you, encourage you, speak truth over you, and advocate for you when no one else will, can change everything.

On the days you feel stuck, discouraged, or unsure…
they remind you who you are and where you’re going.

If you’ve been feeling stuck lately, take a look at who’s around you.

The right community doesn’t just support you… they help you grow.

There was a time I questioned what my purpose really was…

But through working in healthcare, especially after renewing my faith, it’s become so much clearer.

I’m called to serve.

To care for others.
To show up.
To make an impact in whatever way I can.

And what’s been really meaningful is realizing that this doesn’t just apply to one area of my life.

Even the business I’ve stepped into aligns with that same purpose.

It may look different, but at the core of it all…
it’s still about serving.🌿

The struggle is real. No matter how much you find value and fulfillment in something. No matter how long you've been in your line of work. We all have moments of feeling drained, empty, and just plain spent. Working 12 hour shifts or even longer, with a 30 minute lunch (if we're lucky) can really take so much out of us.

Not trying to complain or sound ungrateful... I'm just speaking hard facts. I'm thankful that I've been in my field of work for as long as I have. I'm thankful that I was able to stay employed even through Covid (the lock-down), and that it's never been difficult to find work; but that doesn't mean I don't feel the burnout from time to time.

That's why I didn't want this to be my only option forever. That's why I chose to see what's outside of the daily grind, and the rat race. To pursue something that provides even more towards my financial obligations. Something that wouldn't take away more of my time away from my family and life outside of my 9 to 5.

If you are feeling this too, DM me "burnout" and I'll personally share what I've been building that can eventually replace your 9 to 5 or be that secondary stream of income in addition to your 9 to 5.

Just a small part of my daily routine.šŸ’§šŸ¤

Filling up my Stanley before heading out the door has become second nature at this point.

Nothing complicated. Just being more intentional about staying hydrated and what I’m putting into my body every day.

It’s the little habits that add up over time.

I just needed to vent today, and I don't want it to seem like I'm asking for a pity party, but it honestly just helps for me to talk things out. This is what I believe gives me permission to just feel all the things when it comes to struggles and stressful circumstances.

Might sound clichƩ, but it's OK to not be OK. It's also OK to ask for help. I feel like we get so used to trying to do things on our own that we're afraid to reach out or we simply don't want to. I can get that way a lot, but there really is strength in numbers. We are not meant to do life alone, no matter how much of a "lone wolf" you may think you are, we all need support in some way or another.

Whether it's needing a moment to vent, asking for prayer, or even just someone to say I hear you and I am in your corner. All of it can be so helpful, but how are people going to know you're going through it, if you don't reach out? We don't always have it all together, and people will eventually catch on when it seems fake or forced.

So, again.... it's OK to not be OK, and it's also OK to reach out. You never know how much it really will help until you actually try.

Something I’ve been realizing lately…

We are allowed to change.

Who I was 5 years ago isn’t who I am today.
The things I once thought I wanted… the path I thought I’d stay on… it’s all shifted over time.

And for a while, that felt uncomfortable.

But the more I’ve leaned into my faith, the more I’ve understood that growth requires change.

God doesn’t call us to stay the same. He calls us to grow, to trust Him, and sometimes to step into something new, even when it doesn’t make complete sense yet.

That’s been a big part of my journey lately.

Stepping into something outside of my comfort zone, building something new, and trusting that I’m being led where I’m meant to be.

I’m learning to trust the process and who’s guiding it.

If you’ve been feeling that pull to change something in your life.....lean into that. Don't ignore those feelings. Give yourself the opportunity to venture out of your comfort zone. It might just be the very thing that will transform your life.
