Hello! Almost day one of chapter 5 in 2025! Wow! Time is flying by! Here is my flyer about BLOOM TODAY! This is a 6 week online(via Zoom) coaching course for women that starts May 15th 6-730pm mountain time! Are you tired of living in "survival/ stress"mode or in "just existing" mode? Do you want to know how to thrive and have the tools to live with more optimism, a sense of purpose and empowerment? Remember if you feel "revved" up at some point in the day whether due to a stressful meeting, deadline, feeling anxious about something, or whatever, cortisol is being released and it's SO important to release that from your body! Everyone has 60 seconds to shake it off, do jump squats, sprint in place, and stretch. There's power in the 60 seconds that can help you release. Pausing to do 10 belly breaths can reset and help you be in the parasympathetic and bounce back as needed. Incremental coping skills throughout the day, always including some sort of physical movement can make drastic improvements in how you feel and think overall:) I'm shaking it off right now!

Week #2 blog post on anxiety "What if's and bunny trails!"

Anxiety can wreak havoc on the mind, especially with "what if?" thoughts and then create what I like to call, "bunny trails" off of those thoughts. Before you know it, that fear of failing something can turn into a life long doom belief! Worst case scenario thoughts can turn into a long thread of me...

Have you or a loved one dealt with ANXIETY? Oh it can be debilitating, paralyzing, frustrating and SO many other emotions accompany it. Recently, I saw Inside Out 2, not only once but twice! The producers did a FABULOUS job with externalizing anxiety as a part (a cute orange character) and there was a scene that showed a panic attack followed by utilizing grounding techniques and the character knowing anxiety did not define her sense of self. For the next seven weeks, I'm going to post about anxiety and hope to offer some info with hope and encouragement:)

What a wonderful time at the She Speaks Conference! Now enjoying Charleston SC:) Being at the beach today reminded me of the rhythm of rest we all need. When I say rhythm, I mean routinely, a regularly incorporated time set aside as a part of life. May our mentality be of that rather than earning or working for rest. Rest takes on many forms, find what's restful for you, make it an intentional time that is regularly a priority and the impact will be so positive on your life!πŸ˜ŠπŸ©·πŸ’―πŸ™Œ

Remember to release cortisol throughout the day when you're feeling stressed/revved up! Otherwise, it gets stored in the body as do our emotions. On these long 10 hour days even though I love what I get to do, I'll pause on a break and do a 15/20/30 min workout video or get outside. So even if it's a workout day. still take the time throughout the day to move, to release, and to shake off what is needed:)
