Kathy was given a provider number by the State of Colorado to administer the Children’s-Home and Community Based Children's Medicaid Waiver (C-HCBS Medicaid Waiver). Kathy has been administering the C-HCBS Medicaid waiver, formally the Katie Beckett waiver since 2002 and feels that she has found her calling. In 2014, Governor Hikenlooper appointed Kathy to the Colorado Advisory Council for Persons

with Disabilities. Kathy is relentless in her pursuit to assist all children and adults with special needs in the State of Colorado. Families in Colorado have trusted Kathy and ARA with their precious children, therefore making ARA grow at a rapid pace. In addition to C-HCBS waiver services, ARA can also make the transition from the any Medicaid waiver to Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid an easy transition at age 18.
