• Don’t mix medications with similar ingredients (like multiple cold medicines containing acetaminophen)

🌬️ Cold Season Is Here! Let’s Talk About the Common Cold 🤧

The common cold is caused by a variety of viruses—most often rhinoviruses, but also coronaviruses, adenoviruses, and others. While it’s usually mild, it can still make you feel miserable!

Typical Symptoms:

Runny or stuffy nose

Sore throat

Sneezing and coughing

Mild fatigue or body aches

Low-grade fever (sometimes)

How It Spreads:

Colds are highly contagious! They spread through airborne droplets when someone coughs or sneezes, or by touching contaminated surfaces and then touching your face.

Prevention Tips:

✅ Wash your hands often

✅ Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth

✅ Disinfect commonly used surfaces

✅ Stay hydrated and get plenty of rest

✅ Support your immune system with healthy foods and sleep
