Saturday was a perfect day for shopping at the Colorado Springs Flea Market. It is always a unique experience and you never really know what you will find; from tools, to toys, to plants, to antiques and collectibles, its always a treasure hunt. Several residents found treasures they couldn’t live without and some just enjoyed strolling the aisles in the nice weather.

Our Health & Wellness Expo on Main Street hosted over ten vendors. Attendees received health and wellness information and support. Medical providers such as Sages Elder Care and The Key showcased affordable medical supplies. Holistic health practices, stem cell research, and memorial gardens were highlighted. Kaiser Permanente and many other vendors participated in the event.

Join us for an extraordinary evening of whiskey appreciation at Resort Lifestyle Communities! Our special host, Aaron Nader, guided residents through an elegant tasting experience featuring five distinguished American whiskeys. From the rich notes of Heaven Hill to the subtle complexities of Rocky Mountain Blue Peak, residents savored each unique pour while learning about the artistry behind these fine spirits. 🥃

The intimate gathering brought together 15+ whiskey enthusiasts, creating meaningful connections through shared appreciation of craftsmanship and flavor. Aaron's expertise transformed each sip into an educational journey through the rich tradition of American whiskey.

This week, the residents of Aspen Trail were treated to a delightful display of art and skill as the community hosted its First Quilt Show, bringing a vibrant splash of color and creativity to Main Street. The event was a resounding success, drawing appreciative crowds and showcasing the talents within the community.

Approximately thirty stunning and unique quilts were on display, each a testament to the creativity and dedication of the residents and their family members and friends. Attendees had the opportunity to vote on their favorite quilts across five different categories. The winners were: Linda Sigler and her daughter Melanie's "A Purple Patch Quilt" for Best Patchwork, Carolyn Reid’s mother-in-law's "A Slimmer Fit" for Most Traditional, Dick Carle’s daughter, Julia Grigsby's "Don’t Bug Me" for Most Creative, and Freddie Jean Pugliese's "Dancing Maidens" which earned both the People's Choice and Best of Show awards.
