What does detox support look like in kids?

Here are some tips to help your kiddo feel their best:

1. Stay Hydrated: Hydration is the foundation of all detox efforts. It keeps the blood and lymph moving, supports kidney function, and flushes toxins from the body.

Quick Tip: Add a pinch of sea salt or trace minerals to your child’s water for better absorption and electrolyte balance.

2. Support Regular Bowel Movements: Healthy digestion is critical for clearing waste from the body. Regular bowel movements are one of the primary ways the body eliminates toxins.

Quick Tip: Add fiber-rich foods like berries, chia seeds, and cooked veggies to their meals. If they struggle with regularity, consider adding gentle, food-based digestive support.

3. Encourage Movement: Physical activity is one of the simplest ways to support the lymphatic system, which doesn’t have a built-in pump like the heart. Movement keeps the lymph fluid moving and helps the body flush waste.

Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get mentioned enough in our field...

It’s tempting to believe we’ve got all the answers—especially when clients see results and we finally feel like the “one who helped.”

But true healing usually takes a team.

And that means knowing when to refer out.

It doesn’t make us less—it makes us trustworthy.

I recently worked with a toddler struggling with eczema and chronic tonsil inflammation.

We made progress with gut healing, but I also saw signs it was time to bring in an airway expert.

Sharing the baton early helped that child avoid YEARS of unnecessary struggle.

⭐️ Always makes time for the deep conversations our kids want to have, no matter how long and hard the day has already been

🇺🇸 Chose a really hard career path that allows him to provide an incredible life for his kids, and has stayed committed even though he could do literally anything he wanted

🏃leads by example, reminding our kids often that they can (and should) do hard things

❤️ loves each of his kids in the unique way they need to feel loved, which requires really understanding them, and digging deep to uncover new ways to parent as each kids’ life evolves from one chapter to the next

🤓There has been very little research done into aluminum metabolism in infants and children. This should concern us, considering how much aluminum we expose them to with vaccinations.

🔥When the body is exposed to toxic amounts of aluminum, problems with the immune system, genes, inflammatory balance, metabolism, oxidative stress, and more can occur.
