While National Thank a Resident Day officially kicks off tomorrow, we have been celebrating our residents and fellows all week.

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center’s volunteer therapy dog, Tula, along with our Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer John H. Brill, M.D. and Designated Institutional Official Carol Lee, M.D., rounded throughout the hospital to bring smiles to our hardworking residents and fellows.

Tula is loved by so many of our staff and patients, and it makes us happy to see her bring joy to our future physicians.

Earlier this month, our security team took part in bicycle training to strengthen those patrol skills to allow them to respond quickly and connect more easily with our patients and staff.

Thank you, , for everything you do to keep every corner of our campus covered!

Today, wore red for Arrowhead Regional Medical Center’s annual Go Red for Women event! Our Comprehensive Stroke team shared information on cardiovascular disease and how to identify a heart attack or stroke. Our staff even took to the runway to share healthy habits.

Go Red for Women, an initiative of the American Heart Association has addressed the awareness and clinical care gaps of cardiovascular disease in women since 2004.

Nearly 45% of women ages 20+ are living with some form of cardiovascular disease, and ARMC is proud to do our part to bring attention to this every year.
