Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it 💛

Our Sunset Sound Bowl Fundraiser with Horses was truly something special. As the sun dipped below the horizon and the sound bowls filled the air, there was a sense of peace, connection, and healing that’s hard to put into words. Sharing that experience surrounded by such a gentle, powerful herd made it even more meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and held space with us. Your presence helped create an evening full of calm, compassion, and community—and it directly supports the continued care of these incredible rescue horses.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners and everyone behind the scenes who made this event possible.

Moments like this remind us how powerful it is when people come together with intention.

Still soaking it all in ✨

Today we celebrate Earth Day 🌎

At Operation HOPE, healing doesn’t happen within four walls…it happens in partnership with the natural world.

Through equine-assisted psychotherapy and ecotherapy, we witness every day how connection to the earth, and to our horses, helps people reconnect to themselves.

The rhythm of hooves, the stillness of open space, the quiet wisdom of nature…these aren’t just beautiful moments. They are powerful tools for healing, growth, and restoration.

This Earth Day, we’re reminded that caring for the planet is also caring for our own well-being.

When we nurture the earth, it nurtures us right back.

Take a moment today to step outside, breathe deeply, and reconnect 🌿

Grateful for an incredible day of learning, connection, and collaboration! 💙

A big thank you to Monmouth University School of Social Work for partnering with Operation HOPE to offer a day of three clinical CEUs for social workers and licensed counselors. We were lucky to spend it at the beautiful Cream Ridge Equestrian Center, diving into the core principles of equine-assisted psychotherapy.

Participants had the opportunity to experience hands-on learning as we guided them through mock sessions, offering a glimpse into what clients experience in our program. It was inspiring to connect with so many dedicated mental health professionals who share our passion for providing meaningful, effective care.

We are also incredibly grateful to Cream Ridge Equestrian Center for opening their doors and graciously hosting us after a last-minute location change—your support made this day possible! 🐎✨

We truly value these partnerships and the chance to grow together in support of our community.

As a reminder, we proudly offer free equine-assisted psychotherapy to veterans and their families.

We’re also excited to share that Part 2 of our equine-assisted psychotherapy CEU trainings is in the works—stay tuned for updates!

We have an important update regarding tomorrow’s training with Monmouth University 🐴

Due to an unexpected event, we’ve had to move to a new location for this event. While this change was completely out of our control, we understand that last-minute updates can be inconvenient, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause.

The training is still happening as scheduled, and we’re grateful to have secured a new space so we can continue as planned. We appreciate your flexibility, understanding, and support more than you know.

📍 New location details have been sent via email. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Safety and connection open the door to more compassion and curiosity 🤍🐴

In the quiet moments…just a hand on a horse, a steady breath, a shared presence, something begins to shift.

No pressure. No expectations. Just connection.

Equine-assisted psychotherapy invites us to slow down, tune in, and rediscover what it feels like to be safe in relationship—with ourselves and others. Horses, with their intuitive and nonjudgmental nature, help reflect what we may not yet have words for.

From that place of safety… curiosity grows.

From curiosity… compassion follows.

And that’s where healing begins.

✨ Celebrating 6 Years of Operation HOPE ✨

Six years ago, a serendipitous meeting at an EAGALA networking event in North Jersey brought Sara and Brooke together…two hearts with one shared vision: to create a space for healing through alternative, nature-based modalities.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Operation HOPE was born. What began as a dream grew into a practice rooted in compassion, connection, and creativity—offering equine-assisted psychotherapy, virtual telehealth sessions, and ecotherapy to those seeking healing in new and meaningful ways.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with incredible rescue farms, devoted animal companions, passionate farm owners, businesses, nonprofits, drug and alcohol centers, and fellow private practices. Together, we’ve built a community centered around growth, resilience, and hope—including meaningful collaboration with Monmouth University and the opportunity to mentor truly wonderful interns who continue to inspire the future of this work.

We are endlessly grateful for the experiences we’ve shared with our equine partners and the trust of our amazing clients. Your journeys inspire us every day.
Here’s to 6 years of hope and healing—and to many more ahead ♥️🐴
