A big shoutout to our amazing intern, Alana Bonham! Through the Columbia City High School internship program, Alana joined us this semester and quickly became a valued part of the Oak Pointe team. From helping in our Activities Department to learning hands-on caregiving skills alongside our PCA team, her positive attitude and hard work have made a real impact on our residents and staff.

We’ve loved having Alana with us so much that we’re excited to share that she’s officially joining the Oak Pointe family as our newest PCA! We’re proud of all she’s accomplished and can’t wait to see her continue to grow with us.

Friday was the last day for National Skilled Nursing Care Week! What a way to end it with ELVIS! Our residents here at the Assisted Living were invited to come and watch Elvis perform. Elvis's performance was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and memories. Everyone had a wonderful time singing along to the classics. YES, the ladies were in ahhh when he came over to them!

Sweet treats with a sweet purpose! Students from Concordia Lutheran High School Culinary Arts program are taking their baking skills beyond the classroom. Third year Bakery & Pastry students are turning cakes into service project to give back to the community, spreading kindness one dessert at a time.

We are so proud of these talented students for using their creativity and compassion to make a difference! Again a BIG thank you to the Culinary Arts Program at Concordia Lutheran High School! It was absolutely delicious!

Today is National No Dirty Dishes Day, but it's no dirty dishes everyday for our residents when they are done eating. Staff will come and gather up our residents dirty dishes then take them to the kitchen. Shoutout to our amazing waitstaff who make the magic happen and keep things spotless!
