Scheels in Eden Praire was such a great idea for a cold February day! ❄️(But sun was shining nonetheless!) ☀️
All in one store they had a cafe and candy store, endless taxidermy, many sporting goods to look at, and a beautiful saltwater tank that we could have stared at all day long. We all had such a great time ☺️

Our Valentine’s Day Social was an absolute BLAST! We enjoyed a new performer, Beach Comber Bob, who rocked the house with his “Back to the 50s” performance, while munching on scrumptious sweets and strawberries.

Reuben, our lovebug for the day, helped sprinkle some extra heart into the afternoon, too.

After the music, residents were delighted with the biggest surprise- hundreds of personal Valentine’s cards and gifts all addressed to them specifically. The smiles this brought to their faces as they opened their gifts and cards was just like children. They were so impressed with the personal notes, drawing, and detail put into these valentines just for THEM! Along with the cards, they also each received a gift bag full of valentines goodies and fun items.
Every single card and goodie bag was made by members of the community, who graciously gifted them to our residents.

Many residents remarked how they hadn’t gotten this many valentines since grade school, and I found many of them sitting down and going through each and every card as I checked in on them later in the day- it definitely made my heart smile.

Thank you a million times over to all the amazing people that helped bring some Valentines LOVE to our amazing residents here at Personal Care. We will DEFINITELY be doing this next year!

Our lovebirds here at Personal Care had romantic lunch dates last week to celebrate Valentine’s Day 💗 Couples were treated to a platter of sweets, their own bottle of wine, and the privacy of their own table.
Our couples look forward to these lunch dates each Valentine’s Day, and we love hosting an intimate date for them. 🥂💝
