A lower back massage, metaphysically, connects to the root chakra the energy center tied to stability, security, and grounding. When tension is released there, it often symbolizes letting go of fear, financial stress, or survival anxiety.

In essence, freeing the lower back energetically aligns you with trust, safety, and support from life itself it’s the body’s way of saying, “You’re safe to stand strong again.”
