Dozens of dogs, cats and other pets vied for the prestigious title of being the first-ever Cooperative Health Virtual Pet Show Champion. In the end, a six-month-old Great Pyrenees that goes by the name of Bandit claimed the title. This spring, we asked our Cooperative Health team members to post pictures of their pets via the Happiness 360 app. The most “likes” took the prize. Bandit, owned by Pelion Migrant Health Program Patient Care Coordinator Migdalia Medlin, received the most “likes” with 24.
Congrats to Migdalia and Bandit on their big win. And thank you to all team members – and their pets – who participated in the Virtual Pet Show.

And fewer than 60 percent are engaged in physical activity. This June, let’s seize the opportunity by taking stock of your lifestyle and scheduling an appointment with your primary care provider.

Worst yet, is that less than half of those individuals are receiving treatment. Here are some quick tips for improving your mental health:

a. Treat yourself with kindness and respect
b. Make time for your hobbies or start a new one
c. Set realistic goals
d. Surround yourself with positive people
e. Ask for help when you need it
