Why somatic therapy? As a third year somatic experiencing student, this training has changed my understanding of anxiety, trauma, and the nervous system. This training is a 3 year, 8 module training program with numerous personal sessions required to achieve full certification as an SEP (somatic experiencing practitioner).

If the question ‘where do you feel that in your body’ makes you want to vomit, somatic therapy is a gentle and very non pathologizing treatment approach. 💕
