"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
Some of y'all may not know this about me, but I work at a veterinary clinic! Unfortunately, with that job comes the responsibility to help grieving owners during the loss of letting go of their beloved pet. It's definitely hard and doesn't get any easier, and I've cried alongside multiple owners. I love my pets with my whole heart, and I can't imagine how I'd feel if I ever lost mine. Recently, a friend of mine lost a really special dog to her, and it broke my heart for her. I got the opportunity to make her a special piece made from her pet's fur. I have done several horse hair necklaces in the past, but this was my first dog fur necklace pendant, and it was such a special piece to create for a special girl and her beloved pup and I'm grateful I got the opportunity to do this piece of jewelry.
