I started a thing in August I had no idea how it would be received.

But let’s just say “if you build it they will come” 🙂

On this last Friday of Summer

I want to take a minute to celebrate and appreciate this small movement that has been filling my heart 💜

Because
I believe in play
I believe in connection
I believe when women get together with similar and differing views we can move mountains ⛰️

🔗But it starts with connection, trust and respect for one another

When we step away from the echo chambers of social media and news,

When we can actually connect and discuss the parts of life that deeply matters with compassion, respect and non-judgement.

We have the capacity to create change.

When we have the space to be silly with one another AND share our struggles AND everything in between

This is where change begins to happen.

When women walk together, we can then march and stand together.

We can create figurative movements that will cause change in our communities to make our communities a safer and stronger place.

🙏🏻Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul for all of those who joined me this summer for a walk and talk.

For all of you who wanted to join, but couldn’t, it is ok. I see and hear you 💜

This isn’t your regular ‘feel-good’ business anniversary story.

This is the raw, honest truth about burnout, guilt, and what happens when your schedule goes from packed to empty.

Four years ago, I left the burnout of a full calendar to start my own business (and opened my doors August 2021!).

I had to learn a hard lesson: a business with no clear paycheck or time requirement felt like a massive failure, especially when my calendar was empty.

The hardest part? The guilt of shutting down my computer and leaving an empty schedule behind. As a recovering workaholic, I wanted to be 100% there for my work AND family AND my own health (and that’s not possible)

This struggle has helped me redefine what success truly is.

It’s not about being a workaholic, it’s about making space for the things that truly matter. It’s a new definition of success built on:
* My Health
* My Fun
* My Family
* My Purpose
* My Time

Hip or back pain can sneak in quietly 🤫

At first, it’s skipping the heavy box…
then holding back on the hike…
and before you know it, hesitation has stolen the moments you want most 🥺
