It’s a season for listening.

This in-person Winter Reset is a gentle space to slow down, reflect without pressure, and understand why rest can feel so hard inside the body — especially for strong, capable women who are used to pushing through.

You won’t leave with a vision board or a to-do list.
You’ll leave with breathing room.

✨ Brief Coaching
For the woman who knows what to do — but can’t seem to follow through, no matter how capable she is.

This is solution-focused coaching to help you understand what’s blocking momentum and create a plan that actually fits this season of life.

Neither option is about pushing harder.
Both are about working with your nervous system — not against it.

Lessons from Nature

Everyone talks about discipline this time of year.
More structure. More pushing. More “getting back on track.”

But winter doesn’t work that way.

☀️Look at nature.
🌊Nothing is rushing.
🦆Nothing is forcing growth.

Most days are slow.
And when there is movement, it’s intentional — powerful, then quiet again.

This is why I don’t believe in a “word of the year.”
I believe in a word of the season.

And for winter?
That word (and intention) is REST.

Not quitting.
Not doing nothing.
But allowing your body to move at the pace this season actually asks for.

If you’re feeling the pull to slow down, you’re not doing it wrong.

You’re arriving.

To all of you who are currently in a “wintering” season of life.

I see you, I hear you 💜

For me, I don’t always know I’m going through a wintering season, but after I’ve been through it and recognize - I use reflection, to learn, to grow and to know I’ve bee here before. Each time becomes less scary, but does not mean it takes the pain and challenges away.

Thank you for being here through it all on this space.

If you’ve been following along in stories, you might’ve noticed my sleep has been better lately.

That hasn’t always been the case — and I don’t expect it to be perfect forever.

The real game changer this year didn’t happen at night.
It happened during the day.

It surprised me too.

Merry Everything and Happy Always 💚❤️

The reason I can say this with absolute truth is this season is because of this man.

Because behind every strong independent woman - who is trying to inspire and support other strong, independent and capable women -

Is a safe, compassionate partner that hugs me when I need one, calls out my BS with love, let’s me fall because he believes in my strength to get back up - and when I can’t - he holds out his hand and lets me know this is apart of life, and he’s got my back.

I want to take this time to give thanks to my forever hubby - boyfriend - partner - and love

Thank you for the daily stuff like -
Cooking our meals
Cleaning up after
Signing the kids up for camps and sports
Taking kids too all these things
Planing vacations for us and family
Paying the bills

Thank you for special road trips, golf games and places we’ve explored, even when they are gravel back roads if WV.

Thanks for laughing with me - and letting me soak@your shoulders with tears and loving me through it all.

Thank you for loving me for all of my energy, creation, love and adventure.

Accepting my inner Clark Griswold - with my over the top plans - that rarely work out and I runaway 🙃- and who never complains about the literal and figurative mess I create.

Thank you for always showing up and helping me through it ALL.

I love you forever and always hubby. No matter where we are you are a deep part of what home means to me.

If rest feels hard for you, this isn’t:

❌ a discipline problem
❌ a motivation issue
❌ a personal failure

When the body doesn’t feel safe enough to slow down, it stays braced.
And a braced body keeps protecting —
even when you stretch, strengthen, and “do all the right things.”

That’s why so many capable, high-functioning women say:
“I know I should rest…
but I can’t.”

This cycle isn’t created by:

❌ weakness
❌ laziness
❌ lack of willpower

It is created by:

✅ protection
✅ a nervous system that hasn’t learned how to downshift
✅ a body doing its best to keep you functioning

Alignment — physically and emotionally — doesn’t return by forcing more effort.
It returns when the body learns it’s safe enough to soften.

This is the H in my SHIFT method:
Hearing the body instead of overriding it.

If slowing down feels uncomfortable…
If rest creates mental noise instead of relief…
If your body won’t “let you” relax…

❌ You’re not broken.
✅ Your body is protecting you.
✅ And it can learn something new.
