🌟 A Legacy of Joy and Love: The Benton Family

Taylor had a deep love for children and a heart for serving others. "I had the honor of leading a Resurrection Gardens class yesterday, and it was such a beautiful reminder of God’s restoring power." - Hannah Bleyle, "Art & Soul" workshop facilitator.

Hannah and 3 other women gathered March 19th to create Resurrection Gardens—simple reminders that even in the darkest places, God is still at work. Each woman planted something small, but meaningful… a symbol that what feels buried is not gone. In Christ, there is always hope, always renewal, always resurrection.

Resurrection Gardens: A Make-and-Take Craft Workshop

On Thursday March 19 from 12pm to 3pm, Daybreak will host another "Art & Soul" workshop, where the participants will create their own symbolic garden of hope and new life - a Resurrection Garden - just in time for Easter!

During the crafting workshop, Hannah Bleyle will share a devotional about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. She will explore the symbolic meanings of each part of the Resurrection Garden.

All supplies and lunch will be provided at no cost to the participants.

This mom and dad recently visited Daybreak to redeem the Baby Bucks they had earned—and left Taylor’s Boutique with a car seat, Boppy nursing pillow, diaper bag, handmade quilt, baby wipes warmer, and clothing and supplies for their little one.

Daybreak’s Baby Bucks Program is a virtual, self-paced education program that helps expectant and new moms and dads prepare for parenthood while earning “baby bucks” to redeem for essential items in Taylor’s Boutique. The boutique is stocked with items such as new baby clothing (0–12 months), car seats, strollers, Pack ’n Plays, Boppy nursing pillows, diaper bags, quilts, diapers, wipes, and more.

These items are made available through the generosity of donors who care deeply about supporting moms, dads and babies in our community.

Many thanks to Dunn’s Chapel’s women’s group – “Women at the Well” – for inviting Sabrina Benton, Taylor’s Boutique Coordinator, to their Valentine’s Day Tea!

Sabrina had a wonderful time sharing about the heart behind Daybreak’s programs and services. She especially enjoyed highlighting the Baby Bucks Program — a virtual, self-paced educational opportunity that allows new moms and dads to earn “baby bucks” to redeem for essential items in Taylor’s Boutique.

The generosity and support of the ladies of the "Women at the Well" group is a tremendous blessing! Because of their kindness, Daybreak is able to restock shelves and racks with much-needed baby items for the families served each day.

This sweet momma and her daughter redeemed Mom’s and Dad’s “Baby Bucks” last week and received a car seat, changing table, Boppy pillow, baby bathtub, bottle warmer, blankets, and many other items for their baby who will be arriving in the spring.

Daybreak’s “Baby Bucks: Earn While You Learn” prenatal/postnatal video education program gives new moms and dads the opportunity to earn “Baby Bucks” to redeem in Taylor’s Boutique. The on-site boutique is fully stocked and beautifully merchandised with baby items such as new baby clothing from 0-12 months, new car seats, strollers, Pack n’ Play cribs, quilts/blankets, diapers, wipes and many other baby supplies.
