We are thrilled to share that Mighty Kidz Services LLC., is officially partnering with THE LEARNING VILLAGE-NC in Mooresville to provide 1:1 ABA therapy services during their upcoming camps and school-day-out programs! Follow along on their new journey! 🧡🩵

This partnership allows us to extend our mission even further—delivering connection-centered, neuroaffirming, and compassionate support in a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment. Our RBTs and BCBAs will work individually with families receiving our services, offering personalized guidance, regulation support, and meaningful engagement all within The Learning Village-NC in Mooresville.

We are incredibly excited for what’s ahead and deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve families in this new and Mighty way! 💫

🧡 Final Week of Mighty Families, Mighty Feast! 🧡

This week marks the final stretch of our very first Mighty Families, Mighty Feast fundraiser—an initiative close to our hearts here at Mighty Kidz Services.

Thanks to our incredible community, we’ve already raised $300 online through our website, with an additional $550 in pledges. That means we are just $150 away from reaching our $1,000 goal!

Every dollar makes a meaningful difference. This small but mighty impact allows us to support local families who completed our assistance form, ensuring they experience a mightier, more supported feast this Thanksgiving season.

🍂 What an amazing Fall Inservice this past Friday!

A huge special thank you to Beth, our CCO, for organizing yet another incredible inservice — and to all of our presenters across BCBAs, student analysts, and trainers who brought so much expertise, energy, and heart to the day.

🌟 Morning Sessions

We kicked off with:
🧡 Assent-Based Practice with Beth and Michelle K.
🧡 Working With Higher-Level Learners led by Marisa and Stephanie
🧡 A whole-group team-building activity powered by Becca and Chanaya

🦃 Thanksgiving Feast!

We celebrated this inservice with a full Thanksgiving meal — special thank you to our amazing chefs & bakers! We’re so grateful for the culture and community we’ve built! We even got professional headshots of our team & had to move outside for a full company photo because not everyone can fit all in the same room!

🌟 Afternoon Breakouts

Our BCBAs joined Dr. Erik Jacobson for a special session, while our RBT teams dove into:

🩵 Quality Note Writing with Sierrah & Jessalynn — complete with song written and performed about session notes!
🩵 Data Collection Deep Dive with student analyst Brittany
🩵 Maintaining Client Dignity with Qwatera — complete with small-group songs written and performed about client dignity ending with a song competition from each breakout group!

A big shoutout to Erik Jacobson, Ph.D. for traveling down to Columbia, SC from Utica to visit family — and still carving out time to spend the afternoon with our Mighty BCBAs from SC and NC.

We explored what it really takes to build a career that’s happy, relaxed, and engaged — where mindset, skill set, and the right supports align so we can continue showing up with purpose and compassion.

Grateful for the conversation, the insight, and the reminder that when we invest in our clinicians, we invest directly in the lives we impact every day.

A huge shout-out to our incredible clinic kidz who continue to show flexibility and resilience as we make some exciting upgrades! 🛠️✨

We’re adding new counter space and cabinets in our School Readiness Room, and enhancing our Kitchen + Cafeteria this week and next. These changes will help us create even more functional, sensory-friendly, and learning-focused environments for our Mighty families & upcoming programs!

As many of you know, Marisa Ahtonen, our certified PEERS® instructor, has been hard at work helping us design meaningful new programs for our growing community. With her expertise — and the needs we’re seeing from families — we’re thrilled to officially announce:

🎉 MIGHTY TEENS: Our New Day Program for Neurodiverse Teens (Ages 11–15) 🎉

This program will be built around evidence-based social skills instruction, functional independence, self-advocacy, and structured peer engagement — all aligned with the PEERS® curriculum and additional supports unique to MKS!

At our Mooresville location, we’re bringing all the joy, vision, and trauma-informed approach that families love in Columbia, SC. Here’s what’s in store:

HAPPY FRIDAY FROM MKS!

🧡 We continued building out training, supporting new team members, and strengthening the trauma-responsive ABA foundation that makes MKS different.
Next week we welcome new team members for our November new hire behavior tech cohort, as we complete a new BCBA credentialing! Next Friday we have our company wide training inservice day, welcoming a special guest, please remember clinical operations will be closed.

🌈 We saw so many beautiful wins from our KIDZ—new words, new friendships, new confidence, and new joys. We also welcomed new faces, both kidz & staff! Our school team even attended a fun fall field trip! These are the moments that make our days magical.

🚀 And behind the scenes, our Mooresville location is so close to opening—every day there’s more progress! Intakes are open, assessments are available to schedule - in home, community, and clinic.

🩵Feeling proud, feeling grateful, and feeling excited for everything ahead. Thank you to every staff member, caregiver, and kid who makes this a mighty place.

EMPOWER. EDUCATE. & in this case, EQUIP!

Earlier this year, Lindsay met Edwin Gerace, the team lead for APB lexington, and together they began brainstorming how to create even more community impact — not just in Lexington, but also in NE Columbia, Blythewood, and Elgin.

Since then, several of us have volunteered our time to bring this vision to life… and now we’re taking it even further!

Today, our team is officially trained by APB Adaptive Pickleball (based in Greenville), and we couldn’t be more excited to EMPOWER. EDUCATE. and ENHANCE this growing initiative — with plans underway to add a social skills component to our adaptive pickleball program!

Big things are coming — and we can’t wait to keep building community, one rally at a time. 🧡🏓🩵
