After nearly four months, as promised, I’m posting my next career adventure! I’ve enjoyed the summer off with my family and I have been searching for the “perfect” opportunity! I’ve met with great healthcare providers and appreciate my former patients offering encouragement, and even requesting I join with their new providers. I truly miss the clinic, but I know I made the difficult decision I needed to make. I won’t be working in primary care in the immediate future, so unfortunately, I won’t have the opportunity to continue to see you. However, I’m excited for the opportunity to serve the communities of Newberry, Laurens, and Greenwood counties performing wellness visits. I’m continuing my Functional Medicine certification and I look forward to utilizing my training in the future! So, for now, I hope you all are well and I wish you all the best!! Thank you for giving us five great years and supporting us along the way! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Our last day at the clinic...I can’t say enough about Torsha Gary-Black and the joy it has been to start and end this journey together! We love our patients and we have enjoyed serving our community! We look forward to the next chapter, whatever it is! Thank you for your support!

Patients and friends,

We have enjoyed serving our community over the last 5 years; however, it is with deep regret that we inform you that Crescent Clinic Family and Occupational Health, LLC will be closing our doors on May 28, 2020. The recent slow down with COVID-19 and lack of funding has caused us to make this difficult decision. We appreciate your understanding.

We encourage you to call to schedule a final appointment with labs (if needed) before the end of May to ensure you have medication until you are able to be seen by a new healthcare provider. If you are interested in recommendations on who to see in the area, please contact us.

If you would like to obtain a copy of your medical records, you may request them in person or by going to our website and downloading the medical record request form. You may pick them up for a $20 fee or have them faxed to your provider for a $25 fee.

We’re open 8-2:00 (or until we see our last patient) this week! We are seeing patients by appointment only to control the number of people in the office. If you are sick, we are performing telemedicine visits to reduce risk of exposure. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to provide essential services for our patients!

Take care of yourself! We need to remember our mental health directly impacts our physical health and our ability to stay well. Be grateful, do not fear, take this “down” time to regroup and refresh your body. We miss our patients, and we are looking forward to reopening next week. Take care of yourself and stay well! ❤️

UPDATE: We are screening our “sick” visits via phone and swabbing in the parking lot if needed. We do not have the COVID-19 swab kits. We are able to swab for flu and strep. Our office is staying open this week for well visits with plans to close next Monday for two weeks. We will be returning calls within 24 hours and keeping our patients’ medication refills with tele-health visits for $45 for the next two weeks by appointment. We hope to reopen with normal hours April 6. If you need refills or a DOT physical before then, please call for an appointment! Stay well and stay home if you don't need to be out.
