This first time mama knew she wanted a more natural birth experience, she didn’t want the common inductions or extra anything’s. She read books and educated herself so well. She labored at home and rested a lot of her labor, we eventually checked into the hospital (she was so calm and managing her contractions really well) She consented to a cervical check and was already 7 centimeters dilated! 👏🏼 She then faced really intense contractions, more than she said she could have ever expected. She worked so hard and eventually pushed through that pain. Mama dug deep to find her power! She delivered her beautiful baby girl, even though it was so hard SHE DID IT! I am so proud of all of her hard work and her husband’s support.

Not only was a baby girl born this day, but a fierce mother. And protective papa too!

Meet the doula!

Hi all, it’s been awhile since I introduced myself so here’s the face behind Simply Sacred doula services. I’m a holistic birth doula trying to keep our ways simple and sacred. And this looks different for all! I believe it’s essential to be educated on all your choices during pregnancy, birth, & postpartum - so you can make informed decisions for yourself and your growing family.

I wish to help educate and support families as they navigate their way through this huge & transformative journey. I want you to feel loved, empowered, and fully supported with the perfect birth team for you!

I’m passionate about birth (obviously), breastfeeding, and cloth diapering! I am a mother myself to the sweetest little boy oh and a dog mama! ✨

This was beautiful.
Mama surrounded by her husband, doula, so many amazing nurses, and providers that gave her the best chance at the birth she envisioned. While it wasn’t with the provider we had intended it was still with a provider who was supportive and confident. 🔥

All of this support and birth team lead to two perfectly heathly babies passing through the portal of life. Coming earthside and doing skin to skin with their mama! 💪🏼🎉

Educate. Advocate. Prepare. Do the work! Dig deep.
