Here's a common medication myth for your Monday! Over-the-counter medications can in fact interact with prescribed medications you already take. This is why it's important to talk to your doctor or pharmacist before starting a new over-the-counter. You should also tell your provider about any over-the-counter meds you already take if they are planning on prescribing you something new. If you ever have questions about drug interactions, you can always talk to one of our pharmacists!
