As longer days have returned, temperatures soar, and people start to feel better, many people think it is a good time to take a break from counseling, but this might be the best time to see someone.

Schedules are often more laid back so less work or school could be missed.

Your mind is clear so learning and implementing the strategies discussed with your counselor is easier and more effective.

You'll be established and have a head start when the weather starts to turn again.

Therapists aren't as busy in the summer so getting an appointment time that works for you is easier.

Deductibles are met or close to met so you can take advantage of more of your insurance benefits by starting earlier in the year.

Steve is up and running with us! He is billing Cigna and Aetna through Alma and will soon be billing United Healthcare as well. Prior to being an LPC, Steve was a pastor with pastoral counseling responsibilities. He has been helping people find the peace the seek for a long time. We are growing again!! Meet Steve Burbee, LPC. Steve was a pastor prior to pursuing the additional education to become an LPC. He has years of experience helping people through personal and relationship struggles. As a licensed professional, he worked in the prison system with individuals who had varying levels of mental illness, including a significant portion of his time devoted to those with severe mental illness.
