Ben Woodall is our March Employee of the Month at Boone Health! He is an outstanding Patient Care Technician who constantly goes above and beyond for patients, treating them kindly and with the utmost respect.

He is a true asset to the Emergency Department, a go-getter, constantly working to ensure patient movement through the department, all while maintaining patient safety. He takes initiative to learn all the skills within the scope of the position and graciously takes time to have students and new hires precept under him.

We couldn't be more proud, thank you Ben! Thank you for everything you do!

Victoria Fleming is our February Employee of the Month at Boone Health!

She demonstrates outstanding teamwork and dedication to our teams and patients and contributes to such a positive work environment! She isn't afraid to jump between different units to assist other colleagues and does so with such a high attention to detail as a Surgical Technologist.

Victoria constantly has a smile on her face, even on challenging days. Thank you for your hard work here at Boone Health - we appreciate everything that you do for us Victoria!

Meet Boone Besties Nakeya Steele and Sara Revelle!

Nakeya: "I have a battle-tested work bestie. We have a high-stakes partnership at our clinic. We work in a high-pressure environment, and she is my survival tool at times. She works through "the trenches" with me during the most taxing shifts. We share trauma and successes with trials throughout the day. We have a true camaraderie that is difficult to replicate outside of work. She is my sounding board, and she keeps me grounded, which helps buffer the stress during those demanding days. Lastly, she is my unofficial therapist. She is there for psychological safety and allows me to vent, process difficult patient outcomes, and stay level-headed without fear of judgement. She gets it in a way family or outside friends usually do not."

Meet Boone Besties Lacey Clark and Sadie Brimer!

Lacey: "Where do I even start? Sadie and I have been working together for over 10 years now, with a small gap in between. And I think we would both agree, it would be hard to do this without each other. Ya know that one person who just gets it, no matter what it is? If we need help with a patient, need a backup when one of us is off the floor, have a question we need to bat back and forth, a complicated situation or something new that needs two brains...Sadie is that for me. We just work so well together, and it's really a great feeling to know she's going to be there to help through whatever it is.
I think it's safe to say our friendship is Boone-wide as it is sort of running joke when the "besties" walk in to Boone Appetit. But our friendship spans outside of the hospital too. We've seen each other through life milestones, welcoming our babies, some family loss and hardships, and the busy life of working moms. I'm glad she gave me a second chance to be her buddy way back in the day. ;) I have gained a bestie for life!"
