Congratulations to our April 2026 Employee of the Month at Boone Health! Kaylie Shaneberger is an outstanding Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in our In-Patient Pharmacy. She has consistently stepped up to provide coverage during critical times of need and her willingness to be flexible and fill critical shifts ensures operations remain seamless, and delays are prevented. She routinely goes above and beyond, demonstrating dedication to the entire workflow of the pharmacy. Kaylie serves as a mentor and educator for new staff members and truly embodies our 'We Care' model through demonstration of team values.

Ben Woodall is our March Employee of the Month at Boone Health! He is an outstanding Patient Care Technician who constantly goes above and beyond for patients, treating them kindly and with the utmost respect.

He is a true asset to the Emergency Department, a go-getter, constantly working to ensure patient movement through the department, all while maintaining patient safety. He takes initiative to learn all the skills within the scope of the position and graciously takes time to have students and new hires precept under him.

We couldn't be more proud, thank you Ben! Thank you for everything you do!

Meet Boone Besties Nakeya Steele and Sara Revelle!

Nakeya: "I have a battle-tested work bestie. We have a high-stakes partnership at our clinic. We work in a high-pressure environment, and she is my survival tool at times. She works through "the trenches" with me during the most taxing shifts. We share trauma and successes with trials throughout the day. We have a true camaraderie that is difficult to replicate outside of work. She is my sounding board, and she keeps me grounded, which helps buffer the stress during those demanding days. Lastly, she is my unofficial therapist. She is there for psychological safety and allows me to vent, process difficult patient outcomes, and stay level-headed without fear of judgement. She gets it in a way family or outside friends usually do not."
