🎉Let's hear it for our August Employee of the Month, Physical Therapist Wes!!
Boonie behind the page here! I have spent time in Physical Therapy at Boone and watched Wes start the day with a giant smile at 7:00 in the morning and the same smile at the end of his day. He was not my Physical Therapist but the energy and atmosphere he brings makes the center and working through recoveries just a little more fun. This month is for you Wes!!

His peer nomination is truly on point.

'I have interacted with Wes as a patient, the mom of a patient, and a fellow employee and believe he is deserving of the Employee of the Month award for many reasons.
First, Wes is an excellent physical therapist- he is intelligent and seems to know all things physical therapy! I have been Wes’ patient a couple of times before and have always been impressed with his skillset and knowledge. He also knows how to balance pushing patients to work hard without being too forceful. He is funny and personable, and I have seen how he adjusts his demeanor to the patients he is with to make them feel comfortable. He can work everyone, including children.
I suspect many of his patients feel the same sense of compassion from him that I felt; he really cares about getting people to a better quality of life. I have trusted my family with him and have recommended him to a number of other people. He is exactly the type of person we want working at Boone because he delivers top notch care and does it in a way that makes people like getting to see him.'

📣 How are we half way through summer already?? With July, brings a new employee of the month that we are so excited to spotlight! Thanks for everything you do Nate!!
As a teammate, Nate is someone you always want on your shift because when he’s there you know that things are going to run smoothly and that he’s going to find a way to make the experience positive for everyone involved. He really is a truly outstanding teammate and individual who would be very well-deserved employee of the month!!
Even though we don’t work in the same department, there are several things I’ve been able to pick up about Nate from afar. One of those things being whenever Nate’s working, things just seem to run smoother. He strikes me as a “glue guy” for his team, one who plays a major role in ensuring everything gets done both quickly and correctly. He carries a positive attitude with him throughout each shift, and it’s evident in every interaction
His ability to connect with people -from various departments within the hospital and callers outside the hospital. Nate makes many people feel at ease when he communicates with them. He has done an amazing job building relationships with outside hospitals to assist with transfers to other facilities when our patients need other areas of care outside our hospital. This can be challenging but I believe because of the relationships he has built; it has provided a more positive and quicker acceptance of our patients.
