Hey everyone, I posted this on my massage Instagram account but I'm posting it here too. I've been getting a LOT of same day cancellations and cancellations within the 24 hour window. Cancellation policies exist to protect your therapist and it's an industry standard to have a cancellation policy in place. They establish professional boundaries.They protect us from lost business. They also hold the client accountable for their commitments. And lastly, the time slot that a client cancels at the last minute could have gone to someone else who would have committed to their appointment. I totally understand that things happen and life gets in the way which is why I usually (but not always!) let it slide the first time. But if cancellation policies didn't exist, I would have lost out on the cost of three sessions this week alone. Thank you so much for understanding. I appreciate all of you so much.
