We are still working (remotely) towards our goals of improving health and wellness through nutrition and exercise physiology research!

Despite working remotely, NEP research productivity continues.

In March and April, three NEP graduate students successfully defended their thesis and dissertations:
• Dr. Lauren Park, PhD: “Investigating increased sheer stress and physical activity as strategies to improve vascular insulin sensitivity”; Dr. Padilla, advisor
• Laura Clart, MS: “The Role of Estrogen Receptor Beta DNA Binding Domain in Mediating Adipose Tissue and Systemic Metabolic Effects in Exercise in Ovariectomized Mice”; Dr. Jill Kanaley, advisor
• Dr. Jay Porter, PhD: “Sleep, exercise and insulin sensitivity”; Dr. Jill Kanaley, advisor

Congratulations!

The ADA has collaborated with Blue Apron to make eating with easier, more delicious and exciting. This flavorful dish features mojo sauce, a Cuban favorite featuring a bold, aromatic pairing of garlic and citrus. The sauce is spooned over the chicken as it sears in the pan, and the whole thing is served over a bed of fresh cabbage and pepper slaw.
