We get this question all the time, “Do doctors ever refer patients to chiropractors?”
The short answer is yes. Chiropractors are doctors, but they also play a pivotal role in the care continuum. From orthopedic surgeons to pain management doctors, chiropractors can and are essential players in relieving pain and discomfort for shared patients. We often see patients who are pre and post-operative for preparation and rehabilitation.
Chiropractic care is unique in that it can be molded based on the needs of the patient. Every patient has unique goals, wants and needs. Chiropractic care allows our patients to see what they are truly capable of, without many restrictions. It also allows us to see our patients through to performance, where change and work is truly never-ending.
So yes, allied health professionals are some of our biggest referral partners and supporters. Together, we are able to ensure the best outcomes for our patients to get them better than before.
