Our program for 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept 8 is a PowerPoint discussion of Edwin Breeden’s “A Guidebook to South Carolina Historical Markers,” which is a county-by-county description of all historic markers in South Carolina. This valuable resource was published by USC Press in 2021 in cooperation with the South Carolina Department of Archives and History. Among those coordinators assisting with the production of the book was Ben Hornsby. Pat McNeely will be leading our in-person discussion at Owens Field but we’re also going to try a hybrid Zoom format so we’re attaching a Zoom link for those who can’t be there in person. We hope to see you there.
