How do you know if therapy is working?
It’s not always a lightning bolt moment. More often, it’s the quiet shifts. Maybe it’s feeling a little lighter, a little more aware, a little more equipped to handle what life throws at you.
Progress can be subtle, but that doesn’t make it any less powerful.

šŸ’¬ Someone Out There Is Waiting for You
Join Aspire Counseling and be the difference they’ve been searching for.
Right now, someone is carrying more than they can hold.
They’re overwhelmed. They’re trying their best. They’re searching for someone who will truly see them—not just their pain, but their personhood.
What they don’t know is that you might be the one they’ve been hoping to find.
At Aspire Counseling, we believe in the quiet, life-changing power of presence.
We believe healing happens not through perfection, but through connection—
in the moments when someone finally says, ā€œI’ve never told anyone this before.ā€
In the breath someone exhales when they realize they don’t have to carry it alone.
We’re looking for therapists who are grounded, open-hearted, and deeply human.
People who understand the courage it takes to show up—for a client, and for yourself.
People who still feel moved by a breakthrough, a moment of stillness, or the slow and sacred work of someone learning to trust again.
If that sounds like you, we would be honored to have you on our team.
At Aspire, you’ll find:
    •    A supportive, compassionate environment where your work is valued
    •    Colleagues who respect your boundaries and celebrate your heart
    •    A shared mission: to walk with others through pain, and toward possibility
This isn’t just a job. It’s a calling.
And someone out there is waiting—for a therapist like you.
šŸ•Šļø Apply now to Aspire Counseling. Let’s do the work that heals.

On June 19, 1865, freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, which was more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
Juneteenth reminds us that healing is not instant, and justice is not always timely, but both are essential. At Aspire Counseling, we honor the resilience of Black communities and recognize that mental health and freedom are deeply connected.
We remain committed to creating space for reflection, equity, and collective healing.

Inhale… hold… exhale slowly.
Let your senses bring you back to the present.
This gentle practice helps slow your thoughts and calm your nervous system—one color and one breath at a time.
Try it today and let the world surprise you.

Aspire Counseling LLC

Jessica Tappana, LCSW started Aspire Counseling in May 2017 to provide quality, Evidence Based mental health treatment to individuals seeking healing from trauma, grief, anxiety/fear and overwhelming stress. Since then she’s added several additional therapists each who she has known in other settings and believe provide quality care. Aspire Counseling focuses on treating individuals with each therapist having a slightly different ā€œniche.ā€ Jessica speaks to each new client personally about what they are looking for to help match you up with a therapist who will be the best fit for your unique needs, because we understand that the most important factor in whether or not therapy will be helpful is the quality of the relationship between the therapist and client!
