Changes to Medicaid will come in January 2027 from new work requirements and more frequent redeterminations of coverage. To assist our patients, Chase Brexton will work with the State and insurance companies to help them comply with these new requirements to maintain coverage.
For example, Medicaid is the primary insurer for people living with HIV. Losing Medicaid benefits could mean thousands will lose access to life-saving medications. Seven Days in June is an opportunity for you to share your concerns.

Did you know that Chase Brexton pharmacies offer prescription delivery services? It's a free and secure way for eligible Chase Brexton patients to get their prescriptions via UPS and/or messenger service to any address in Maryland. You might even be able to save money by getting a 90-day supply of chronic medications!

Eligible patients can also enroll in our automatic prescription refill program, which refills their medications on or before their due date, or our medication synchronization program, which fills those medications on the same day each month. Packages are sent via UPS and/or messenger service in full compliance with HIPAA and other state privacy laws.

We're thrilled to welcome Yvonne Umezurike DPM, our second podiatrist! Yvonne will see patients at our Glen Burnie and Security Square Centers. She shared this story about her journey to joining Chase Brexton:

"I actually heard about Chase Brexton through some mutual patients that I shared at the time with the facility. All of those patients--and I mean every single one of them--spoke highly about Chase Brexton. When the opportunity came to work at Chase Brexton, I immediately explored it. I love how Chase Brexton is a community that works together to support one another. While other facilities may seem big and unfriendly, Chase Brexton feels like home.

My ability to get along with everyone, adapt to any situation, attention to detail and hard work ethic are just some of the assets that I bring to work with me daily. I am here to be of service and to help each patient I encounter. My goal is that after each appointment with me, the patient will learn something new and will move a step closer towards complete healing."
