This patient had originally come in for tear trough filler to help correct the under eye hollows and fat pads. 👀 She was presented with the option to try out the tear trough and see if she liked it or do a minor surgical procedure called a Lower Blepharoplasty. She opted for the tear trough just to see how it would perform and decided it was not the angle she wanted to take. 🙅🏽‍♀️ She wanted something that was going to be less maintenance and a offer a more permanent correction, thus coming back in for the Lower Bleph to complete her journey! 🤩😍

This amazing patient completed two fat transfer to breast surgeries with us over the course of two years to achieve her desired volume and natural-looking results. 💫 While she wanted as much fullness as possible, her unique anatomy meant that a staged approach was the safest and most effective way to reach her goals.

As you all may know, Dr. Mess is one of the leading experts in fat transfer along the northeast.📍Not many plastic surgeons opt to use autologous fat to help restore volume in the face! This patient had severe fat loss and Dr. Mess was able to soften those areas and provide smoothness. This patient looks amazing as is but if desires for further improvement, would benefit from a 2nd round of Fat Transfer down the road! 🤩

In this case, Dr. Mess placed the implants above the muscle and selected 400cc Ergonomix implants to enhance volume while maintaining a natural slope and fullness at the base. This patient is an excellent candidate for the Ergonomix implant placed subfascial since she has thick, tight skin and good soft tissue coverage. Tomorrow’s post will showcase the contrast using Motiva Round Mini implants placed below the muscle.
