Today marks the 4th month since my father’s passing, and while it’s deeply personal, I feel compelled to share this. Losing both my parents within three months to the same condition has been an unimaginable loss. My dad, like my mom, was my greatest inspiration to start Aidar Health, Inc. — my first hero, who taught me the values of hard work, honesty, dedication, and resilience. He lost his father at age 11, and from then on, worked every single day without a break, right up until he was 74.
What hurts most isn’t just the loss, but the time I lost with them. I regret every moment I wasn’t there—moments spent working or traveling, thinking those things mattered more. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: take time for your health, but even more, spend time with your parents.
Suddenly losing both my parents has left me feeling deeply alone, constantly speaking about them to investors/partners as the inspiration behind the company, all while pushing forward without the time to truly mourn—turning each day into a painful reminder of my loss, yet knowing I must keep going.
My father’s strength in battling chronic kidney disease, like my mom's, motivates me every day to raise awareness and help prevent others from suffering the same. Early diagnosis is key, and through Aidar Health, I hope to touch a billion lives, making a real difference in managing chronic conditions.
I thank my parents every day, not only for giving me life but for motivating me to raise awareness and help prevent others from suffering the same. Their spirit surrounds me, and in their honor, we continue to fight for better healthcare for everyone.
This post is dedicated to spreading awareness and encouraging everyone to prioritize their health, stay informed, and take proactive steps to prevent life-threatening conditions.
