With immense gratitude for his compassionate service, we announce the retirement of Dr. Andrew Knoop, a beloved mentor and psychologist who has served Thompson Center families for 11 years and served Mizzou for 25 years. Surrounded by loved ones, colleagues, and trainees from over the years, we celebrated Dr. Knoop's legacy with many laughs, cherished memories, and stories of his lasting impact.

Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Knoop has completed over 4,200 half-day clinical evaluations, presented over 80 training events to professional groups and research audiences, mentored over 110 trainees, taught numerous graduate courses, and received many awards for his leadership, mentorship, service to Mizzou, and dedication to living out the Thompson Center's values of professionalism, initative, and quality. Dr. Knoop's work has been nothing short of inspirational to his trainees and life-changing for countless families. We are incredibly grateful for his service and look forward to seeing many amazing photos of his adventures in retirement!
