Premier Specialty Network Premier Specialty Network (PSN) is a physician-owned, physician-lead network of medical specialists

Premier Specialty Network (PSN) the largest Rheumatology Network in the United States, was founded by Dr. Robert Jackson from Kirksville, Missouri in 1999 while serving as Associate Dean at A.T. Still University (Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine). PSN evolved out of the Northeast Missouri Rural Health Network (NMRHN) which Dr. Jackson directed from 1997 to 1999. NMRHN helped develop 5 Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) in northeast Missouri (Unionville, Milan, Macon, Memphis and Brookfield). Later, Dr. Jackson developed a unique model of outreach specialty medical service for rheumatology to serve the same hospitals. PSN has since expanded to provide medical and surgical services to over 40 hospitals and clinics in 5 States. PSN specializes in providing specialist services to rural healthcare systems. PSN has established relationships with Academic Medical Centers and Healthcare Consultants across the Midwest. Our goal is to expand medical and surgical specialist services with improved access to healthcare, by partnering with rural hospitals and clinics.
