With the holiday season upon us and we turn our thoughts to our families and friends, please remember to take care of your own health as well. The doctors at Elite Chiropractic and Sport provide a wide range of services to help you reduce pain and inflammation, while increasing your strength and mobility. One of our recent patients highlights how we can help:

I had a shoulder injury that caused so much pain I was headed to the ER. I could not lift my arm to straight ahead or out to the side more than 4 inches from my body without pain so bad I would nearly pass out. As an aging elite lacrosse player, I was used to these types of injuries being tears or "grade 3" somethings that cause months of rehabilitation.

I saw Josh at Elite and he did an immediate assessment of my pain through my limited range of motion.

After some massage of the inflamed shoulder, the range of motion was increased a few more inches, but within a few minutes it was back to limited range.

Josh then provided acupuncture directly on the injured shoulder's area of most acute pain. The acupuncture reduced the pain and increased the range of motion immediately following the treatment. Josh then gave me some hope and promise that the injury may heal over time due to response to this treatment. However, he said if my condition worsened, I would need an X-ray or MRI, to which he gave me a referral.

Within 36 hours i had full range of motion without pain. Within one week I was back to lifting weights. I highly recommend that anyone with a sports injury of the tendon or muscle type, that can withstand pain enough to get an appointment, visit Elite. It will always be my first consult with any future injury. They know how to assess the severity and nature of the injury quickly. Their assessment and treatment options are thorough. I have never had an injury this severe be treated and rehabilitated in a fraction of the time it would normally take.

Dr. Josh Bross is an amazing doctor. He is very attentive and listens to his patient's concerns and needs. He is professional, patient and a caring doctor. After Dr. Bross does an adjustment, I can feel 10 years of stress, tension, aches and pain leave my body. I always leave his office feeling so much better than before I went in. Dr. Bross office is very clean and he is punctual so there is no wait time to see him. When you are with Dr. Bross, you have his undivided attention and he makes you feel like you are his only patient. Angelica, his front office staff, is super polite and very helpful. She always has a welcoming smile on her face and makes the patient feel good as soon as you walk through the door. I would highly recommend Dr. Bross without reservations if you are looking for a chiropractor.
