We were recently challenged to create a "local " wall within the facility and couldn't be more excited to share it! 😃

The "Columbia " sign was made by Brandon Whiteside, our Executive Director, and the photographs were taken by local photographer Kenneth Purdom. Kenneth is the husband of Vanessa Purdom, Director of Business Development. Our "Columbia" wall featuring historic and iconic places throughout the community turned out better than we imagined. 👍

Jasmine was nominated for coming into work on her day off and volunteering to help move a resident who needed to move rooms quickly from one hall to another. Her dedication and willingness to step in without being asked truly shows outstanding teamwork. We are thankful Jasmine is part of our Life Care family! 👏

🎄 On December 1st, the much-anticipated annual tradition of the 12 Days of Christmas themes began! Each day, associates participated by wearing the theme or color of the day.

Some of the themes were:
Feeling Frosty ⛄

Silver Bells 🔔

🍞 We recently celebrated National Bread Day with an assorted array of homemade sourdough loaves provided by Shelby Caperton. Shelby is the daughter of Peggy Caperton, our Director of Admissions.

Residents and associates were treated to warm slices of sourdough bread with a variety of butters to choose from. It has been one of the most attended events we've offered in the Preston Cafe. 🥖😋

Congratulations to Te'Ajha Smith, CNA, our Whatever It Takes Champion for October! 🎉

She is affectionately called "Miss Te" by her coworkers who nominated her for always having a smile on her face and caring for her residents with love and compassion.
