Our student volunteers from have been ever so helpful around here! Hanging the bulletin boards, stocking shelves, writing notes of encouragement for clients…you name it, they’ve done it. They say it takes a village, and ours is just so wonderful! We feel very blessed to have so many organizations come and help us out when we need it. Thank you !! In 1983, Birthright of Columbia presented the very first Dr. Herbert Black Memorial Award to honor a legacy of compassionate care for pregnant women.

At our recent Board meeting, we were honored to present this award to two longtime friends of Birthright.

Dan Leonardi began as a volunteer and later served more than 12 years on our Board of Directors, including time as Secretary. Dan Potts, along with the After the Sermon Sunday School Class at Columbia First Nazarene Church, has faithfully sponsored our Anniversary BBQ plate sale year after year.

We are so grateful for both of these “Dans” and the Sunday School class. Thank you for your heart for the unborn. 💛
