Yesterday we got a little messy potting flowers and plants and it was worth every bit of it!

Revisiting potting reminded many of our residents of their talents and skills, and they taught us a thing or two.

When someone says they can’t or has never done something, another resident often steps in to encourage or teach. Today we had three moments happening at once—learning Rummikub, working on a puzzle together, and even teaching a game of chess.

We had a beautiful early Easter social with our residents today. They enjoyed singing gospel songs and hymns together before and during lunch.

It was a heartfelt and special time, and they truly felt the joy of being together.

Caught in the sun today!

Some of our residents were a little leery about going outside, thinking it was still cold but a few brave souls stepped out and discovered just how warm and beautiful the day really was.

Sunshine, fresh air, and a little vitamin D made it well worth it.
