Taking Command

As a veteran, I have always appreciated when the people I meet would say, “... thank you for your service.” While recognition of my services to our great nation is a beginning, demonstrating and showing your gratitude is exemplary.

Today, I was honored by Councilmember Dr. Calvin Ball’s invitation to be a part of the Marching Our Veteran Back to Work campaign, helping other veterans in Howard County with employment opportunities. At Premier Health Express Clinic (PHEC), we understand the benefits of a health workforce. Also, as the first Warrior Centric Approved clinic in the entire nation authorized to provide care to our veterans and their families, our mission aligns with Councilmember’s vision of providing a healthy veteran force.

This is why PHEC was designed to be a single point of care clinic with in-house labs, x-rays, pharmacy, pediatrics, adults, dental care, and mental health services. Because we believe a healthier veteran workforce means maximum performance, engagement, morale, and productivity. I applaud Councilmember Dr. Calvin Ball and his staff for taking command in making sure all veterans in Howard County receive the resources they need for success in getting back to work!
