ICYMI: We are celebrating a remarkable chapter here at Mirci. After more than three decades of devoted service, leading with compassion, innovation, and unwavering commitment to mental health recovery, Julie Ann Avin, our long‑time Executive Director and CEO, is retiring.

Since stepping into leadership in the early ’90s, Julie Ann has transformed countless lives across the Midlands through Mirci’s behavioral health, outreach, and supportive housing programs. Under her guidance, the organization became home to South Carolina’s only CARF‑accredited Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, bringing evidence‑based care to those who need it most.

Join us in expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Julie Ann for her vision, her courage, and her enduring impact. Here’s to celebrating the legacy she leaves behind—and to the future she’s helped build.
