Groups offer support more effectively when individuals attend the session that fits their experience with a mental health condition: as a family member or as the individual living with the behavioral health challenge. We'd encourage everyone to access virtual support groups (family or recovery support connections) that meet across Missouri. https://namimissouri.org/support-groups/

Sure a massage or movie with a friend is a treat, but self-care can unfold in a few minutes.
Don't ignore the little lifelines just because the big ones may not be within reach at the moment.

Self-care doesn’t have to be complicated. Whether you have 5, 10, or 30 minutes, small moments of care can still make a difference. These simple ideas are here to remind you that even the smallest pause counts. What's your go-to quick self-care?

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

At NAMI, we carry the call for justice and equality from Dr. King by advocating for mental health care, equity, and compassion for all. 🕊️

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

His words remind us that courage is revealed not in comfort, but in moments of challenge—when standing up for justice, dignity, and humanity matters most.

At NAMI, we carry that call forward by advocating for mental health care, equity, and compassion for all. 🕊️
