🙌✨ To God Be the Glory! ✨🙌
Yesterday, September 4th at 1506, Columbia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center officially celebrated reaching a 4-STAR RATING! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
For those who may not know, this is a huge milestone in the nursing home world. For years we carried a 1- to 2-star rating, and honestly, it could be frustrating—because deep down we knew we had some of the best employees and residents around. 💙
But through it all, God has blessed us. We’ve seen residents and staff leave and later return, and those rehires and re-admits remind us that this is more than a facility—it’s truly a family. 🏡 We laugh together, care for one another, and yes… sometimes even joke about claiming our residents on our taxes with all the favorite meals, Amazon orders, and little things we do. For many, we are their only family, and we’re honored to fill that role. ❤️
We’ve always known we were giving 5-star care, but this milestone is a reminder to pause, celebrate, and smell the flowers along the way.
And on yesterday we celebrated‼️‼️
🎉 Our Administrator fired up the grill with steaks, potatoes, and cake 🥩🥔🍰 while our friends at Gentiva Hospice helped surprise staff with an ice cream truck 🍦. Our very own decorated the building.Everyone showed up in their 1506 t-shirts, proud to enjoy the fruits of our hard work together.
We give thanks first to God, who allows us to do what we love with the best staff and residents every single day.
