Our South Carolina JWBC team came together to celebrate JusticeWorks YouthCare’s 25th anniversary in a big way—by enjoying a day at the ballpark!

It was a blast cheering on our local Columbia Fireflies team at Segra Park. We enjoyed a delicious southern food buffet, celebrated Marvel Theme Night, and ended the evening with a spectacular fireworks show.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved and grateful to our amazing staff who make it all possible. Shoutout to our fellow JusticeWorks States: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Colorado, Florida, Delaware, and Nevada. Here’s to many more years of success!

As the school year kicks off, it's natural for students to feel some anxiety about returning to classes. To help ease this transition, encourage open communication with your child about their feelings, establish consistent routines to provide stability, and make advance preparations like visiting the school or attending orientations. Facilitating in-person social interactions can also smooth the adjustment period.

For educators, spotting signs of mental health concerns and creating safe, supportive environments are crucial. Integrating mental health into the curriculum helps foster understanding and empathy.

If you or someone you know is in need of support or experiencing difficulties adjusting to school, please contact your local regional office for a referral to our services. Together, we can make this school year a positive and supportive experience for everyone!
