Trying something new, especially something like aeria, can be exciting and overwhelming. If you’ve never stepped into an aerial studio before, it’s not always obvious what goes into a class, how studios differ, or why pricing can vary so much. We want you to know why our studio may seem different from others!
Aerial isn’t just about having fun in the air (though we absolutely want you to enjoy yourself). It’s a highly technical, physically demanding discipline that requires extensive training, ongoing education, and serious attention to safety; both in how skills are taught and in how apparatuses are rigged and maintained.
At Columbia Aerial Fitness, a huge part of what you’re paying for happens behind the scenes: years of professional training, continuous instructor education, thoughtful class progressions, and a studio built around risk management and safe instruction. While you’re focused on moving, flying, and building confidence, we’re focused on how your body is loading, how skills are layered, how fatigue is managed, and how everything above your head is engineered to support you safely.
We believe aerial instruction has real value. As a small business, we choose not to undercut that value, because doing this work responsibly takes time, education, and care. Our goal isn’t a single class experience; it’s helping students train consistently, safely, and sustainably over time.
If you’re looking for a studio that prioritizes education, safety, and long-term growth alongside creativity and fun, you’re in the right place.
