What does DPT really mean?

DPT stands for Doctor of Physical Therapy. It’s not just a title; it reflects years of advanced education and hands-on clinical training.

Understanding the DPT meaning and other common credentials can help you feel more confident in your care team and the level of expertise they bring to your recovery.

Dale came to see Bill, Andrew, and Emily at our Lexington clinic for some long-standing back issues, and today she wrapped up her plan of care at Carolina PT! She’s officially back to walking regularly, sleeping through the night, and doing all her day-to-day stuff without pain or dysfunction, which is HUGE!

Dale, you were such a fun, upbeat presence in the clinic, and we’re really going to miss having you around! We’re so proud of all the progress you’ve made and can’t wait to see you keep it going out in the real world. 💪

This past weekend, our Carolina PT team was at CDFIT for the very first Charleston Wellness Club event! 💪

Our PTA, Joe Beddall, teamed up with Varya Kononov to help launch a wellness club featuring cold plunges, physical therapy modalities, B-12 shots, and other health-focused vendors. Our Mount Pleasant clinic director, Erin, was there repping with the massage gun and cupping setup, alongside PT student from Wingate University, Chase. They did an awesome job representing Carolina PT!
